The
41st annual SCBWI Summer Conference in Los Angeles was a outstanding
event. This year featured publishing luminaries, fresh faces,
award-winning authors and illustrators, breakout sessions galore, editors, agents, and
more.
This week on Picture This! I’ll give a sampling of some memorable highlights from SCBWI,
LA. I can’t tell you everything I heard or learned, but I can share the moments I won’t forget. I hope that you’ll be inspired and informed just as I was.
If
you have never been to this conference (or even if you have), you need to start saving your pennies
now with the goal of attending next year. Let’s plan to meet up in L.A.
in August 2013!
