The Horn Book Magazine is considered by many as the “bible” of children’s literature. Published bi-monthly since 1924, each issue features articles, reviews, and features about current happenings in children’s literature, while also providing a historical perspective. The Horn Book Guide to Children’s Young Adult Books is released semi-annually and features reviews of hard-cover releases from the previous six months.
