Week of October 9—An Interview with Picture Book Author Jean Reidy
Quote of the week:
Sticks in a bundle are unbreakable.
—Kenyan Proverb
One of the most amazing things about my writing journey so far has been discovering helpful people have been along the way—especially fellow writers. I expected a lot of competition among writers, but what I found is that we’re each so different and we’re each writing from our heart, so there’s nothing to compete about. Instead, we have time to support each other and work together. As the Kenyan proverb says, many of us form unbreakable bundles.
This week I want you to “enlarge your bundle” by spending some quality time with picture book author (and Picture This! follower) Jean Reidy. You may know Jean from her other books Too Purpley and Too Pickley. Her new book, Light Up the Night, has just been released. You’ll love learning from Jean this week and I think you’ll appreciate how she is using her books and her influence to impact the lives of others.
Come on and enjoy this week with Jean!
