Week of September 4—Imagine if . . .
Friday, September 9—Imagine-if Scenario #4
Imagine if . . .
You hear an editor at a conference speak about interactive picture books—ones that ask the child to interact with the text or the physical book in some way. She says she is looking for new, fresh interactive picture books right away in order to launch a new interactive imprint. Her deadline for finalizing her list is fast approaching.
It’s Your Turn!1. Brainstorm ideas for an interactive picture book.
2. Write the text.
3. Make a dummy to lay out the text and demonstrate how it will be interactive.
