Week of November 20: Grateful for a Few More Writing Ideas
Quote of the Week:
Everyone is a genius at least once a year. The real geniuses simply have their bright ideas closer together.
—Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
In honor of PiBoIdMo, this week we’ll continue uncovering methods to help discover writing ideas. During this week of Thanksgiving, we’ll uncover a cornucopia of idea-gathering methods. (Ok, to be honest, it will be a small cornucopia with three or four methods!) To get you into the turkey-day mood, all my examples will come from the iconic symbols of the holiday. So put on your pilgrim hat, grab a turkey leg, and get ready to discover a few more idea-discovering methods.
Monday: Yo, Turkey—Playing with Words
Tuesday: Pilgrims, Land Ho—Using a KWL Chart
Wednesday: Two in Tow—Using a Venn Diagram
Thursday: CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING!
Friday: Leftovers, Of Course
